A big-time builder of industrial warehouses no longer plans to construct a major distribution center along Bethlehem Pike in Hilltown. Verus Partners, of Chicago, previously sought Hilltown township's permission to construct a 122,100-square-foot warehouse on vacant land at Bethlehem Pike and Reliance Road. At 2.8 acres in size, the proposed warehouse was to be just slightly larger than two football fields under one roof. On Tuesday, Christoper Broccolo, real estate principal for Verus, confirmed that they were no longer under contract to develop a warehouse on the property.
